Privacy Policy

When you create an account, we collect your first name and email address.

When you use the AI assistants, we store the messages you send and the responses generated on your behalf. These are saved to your account so you can resume conversations later.

When you set up listing alerts or saved searches, we store your search criteria (price range, bedroom count, etc.) in your browser's local storage. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly sync it.

We collect a session identifier — a randomly generated token stored in a secure, httpOnly cookie — to keep you logged in between visits. This token has no personal information in it.

We do not collect payment information. There is no fee to use this platform.

Your name and email are used to identify your account and deliver the service — conversation history, listing alerts, and market tools.

Your chat messages are used to generate AI responses in real time and to build a saved conversation history accessible only to you.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating this platform.

Member accounts and their associated chat records are retained for a minimum of five years from the date of each conversation. This is consistent with Manitoba's real estate records retention requirements under The Real Estate Services Act.

If you are a guest user (not registered), your chat session data is retained for 90 days and then eligible for deletion.

If you request account deletion, your personal details (name, email, login) are immediately anonymized and your access token is revoked — you will no longer be able to sign in. However, conversation records linked to your account are retained in anonymized form for up to five years from the date of each conversation, as required by Manitoba's real estate records retention rules under The Real Estate Services Act. The content of those conversations is not accessible to you or publicly visible after deletion.

The AI assistants on this site are powered by OpenAI. When you send a message, it is transmitted to OpenAI's API for processing to generate a response. OpenAI's data processing and privacy terms apply to this inference step.

We do not send your name, email address, or any identifying account information to OpenAI — only the content of the conversation.

Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request corrections if it is inaccurate.

To make a request, contact Trevor directly using the phone number or email address in the footer. We will respond within 30 days.

You may also withdraw consent to the collection of your information at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions. Withdrawing consent may affect your ability to use certain features of the platform.

This site uses one first-party session cookie to keep you authenticated between page loads. It is httpOnly (not accessible to JavaScript), Secure (only sent over HTTPS), and SameSite=Lax.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond the session cookie required for the service to function.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing platforms.

Your data is shared only with the services required to deliver the platform: OpenAI (for AI response generation, as described above) and Hostinger (the server hosting provider, under data processing terms).
